Dining questions and history

When a woman will tell you that the road to a man's heart is through his stomach, she will be mistaken. Well, partially, at least. Not only men appreciate a good meal. There have been countless situations when a man mystified a woman with his cooking, winning thus her heart. So, the saying may be used one the other side as well and it would sound like this: the road to a woman's heart is through her stomach. This will also be a bit unfair for the ladies but it is unquestionable the power of a good mean hand in two. This is how dining started, people wanting to impress other people either with their cooking or either with the fancy restaurants they can get into. But sometimes a secluded corner in the local diner will also hit the spot. So, what is the history of dining?

If you are curious about some questions about dining then probably you have already put this question before: where is best to dine with somebody? Well, this question is pretty much a rhetorical question. Even if someone will come and tell you that there is a place that he likes you may not like it and you will still go to the place YOU like. That's why this question is rhetorical, because only you have the answer to it. You may hear all sorts of opinions on great places for dining but the best place is the place that you like and where you feel comfortable. This place doesn't need to be necessarily a restaurant; it may very well be your own home. As for the history of dining, well, it is very probable that even cavemen used to dine together. The feeling of getting together with your lover or with your friends to have a meal and talk the whole day through in a relaxing environment is priceless. But people used to use dining as a pretext to do more gruesome things than fart at the table. During the history there have been sever accounts in which people invited other people to dine with them and later ending in poisoning them for reasons like family feuds or probably that person was richer than the killer. It may sound as a chapter from a Sherlock Holmes novel but this is the truth.

So, it is proven that dining has a wide history and that everybody enjoys a good meal with their loved ones after a hard days work.
